Product Usage
Dosage guidance, feeding tips, and storage instructions for every Petterm product.
- How do I give my pet Petterm supplements?
- Most Petterm supplements are soft chews that pets take like a treat. Simply offer the chew directly from your hand or place it in your pet's food bowl. For powders, mix the recommended amount into your pet's wet food or a small amount of water.
- How much should I give my pet?
- Dosage is based on your pet's weight. You'll find the recommended serving size clearly printed on the product label. When in doubt, start at the lower end of the range and adjust from there.
- How long before I see results?
- Most supplements work best with consistent daily use. Joint and mobility supplements typically show noticeable improvement in 4–6 weeks. Calming and digestive products may work faster — often within a few days.
- Should I give supplements with food or without?
- We recommend giving most supplements with a meal to improve absorption and reduce any chance of stomach upset. Calming chews can be given 30–60 minutes before a stressful event (travel, vet visits, fireworks).
- Can I give my pet multiple Petterm products at once?
- Yes — our formulas are designed to complement each other. If you're stacking multiple supplements, start with one at a time over a week or two so you can see how your pet responds before adding the next.
- My pet won't eat the supplement — any tips?
- Try hiding the chew in a small amount of peanut butter, cream cheese, or wet food. For powders, start with a smaller-than-recommended amount and build up over a few days. Most pets come to enjoy the taste once they're used to it.
- How should I store Petterm products?
- Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Keep the lid tightly closed after each use. Do not refrigerate unless the label specifically instructs it. Most products have a shelf life of 18–24 months from the manufacturing date.
- Are Petterm products safe for all breeds and ages?
- Our products are formulated for adult dogs and cats. For puppies, kittens, pregnant, or nursing animals, consult your veterinarian before use. Always check the product label for any breed-specific notes.
